Hospital Food

I just can not figure out why hospital food is so bad. As I was eating -or at least trying to eat my hospital food this week - I kept thinking how can they mess up Mac & Cheese or even Chocolate Cake. And how can every hospital be like that - Obviously you don't need a food background to be hired for the hospital kitchen.

Then the selections are not the healthiest for you. You just come out of surgery and they want to give you Salisbury Steak, bacon, and burgers.

I would think the medical centers would make sure they were supplying healthy food options for their patients. Food selections that would be easy to digested and help with your recovery.
